Oxford Campervan Hire Holiday
Oxford is a small country town named after the Bishop of Oxford, and filled with boutique stores, cafes and country-style accommodation including several good B and B’s. An English country village type atmosphere permeates this town which offers numerous short walks ranging from 20 minutes to two hours.
Not to be missed is the Lookout Walk which begins in Pearson Park and leads to the Oxford Millennium Lookout. Oxford is also home to renowned Kiwi chef, Jo Seagar, and it’s worth calling into ‘Seagars at Oxford’, a café, cook school and chef’s store.
Visit the Oxford Museum for a taste of the good old days or take a scenic drive to nearby river gorges – popular places with locals to fish for salmon and trout, and swim.
There is no Oxford Campervan Hire Depot to our knowledge, with most customers preferring to hire campervans in Christchurch. For those who prefer to look further afield, check out our NZ Campervan hire options.
